How to celebrate a pink Christmas

Updated: Oct 31, 2021

The holiday season is finally here! to celebrate the holidays like none other before!

However, with the current circumstances the world is in right now, the holiday anticipation has been low. I keep forgetting the fact that Christmas (the time I’m writing this post right now) is tomorrow!

Many people feel celebrating Christmas in these unprecedented times is weird, (so do I) but no matter what’s going on, the spirit of Christmas is always around us!

It’s important to be knowledgeable about the current events in the world since it affects our daily lives. Here on this blog, even if it’s a place for all girls who want to escape the real world and focus on the beautiful parts of life, I will never try to sugarcoat anything or pretend to act like everything is fine. I will always be vigilant in today’s society and help others because right now, everyone needs more help now than ever.

Keeping that in mind, let Me show you how to celebrate a pink Christmas!

DECORATING

Decorating is one of my favorite things to prepare for the holiday season. You can’t have Christmas without a Christmas tree!

You can decorate your tree with whatever you want, but if you have an affinity for all things pink, my suggestion would be to find the girliest ornaments to adorn around your Christmas tree. For example, an ornament of a ballet slipper or strings of pearls would be magnificent.

There’s so much to what you can do with decorating! Turn your home into a winter wonderland!❄️

you can even do fun DIYS!

Find your favorite wrapping paper and wrap your presents to give to your loved ones. Don’t forget to top it off with a sparkling bow!

BAKING

People have been spending more time in their homes and keeping up with their household lifestyle. it’s no surprise there was a banana-bread craze at the start of quarantine, but who’s gonna make Santa his milk & cookies?

grab your whisk and your bowls cause it's baking time!

to make it the girliest Christmas ever, swap green & red frosting for pink.

shaped your cookie dough into snowflakes, and use pearls or white sprinkles to resemble snow. now, you have the most beautifully-decorated but delicious cookies for Santa to eat!

(of course, you can make other variations too as well.)

you can't have cookies without hot chocolate!

grab your favorite mug and treat yourself to some chocolate heaven.

WATCH A MOVIE

Now that you have your cookies, cocoa, and gifts all wrapped up under your tree, what about watching a movie? Not just any movie, a Christmas movie!

one of my personal favorites is none other than ‘The Nutcracker.’

the story, the sets, and the ballerinas 🩰 I just can't get enough of it!

if you're not a fan of ballet, there are tons of other Christmas movies.

to really set up the Christmas mood is by listening to classic Christmas carols.

LAST BUT NOT LEAST......

GO TO BED Santa is coming!!!

On Christmas eve of course, because when you wake up, you'll be greeted by the magic of Christmas all around you.

In the end, Christmas is not just about the gifts nor the food, but rather about family and the people you love that are closed to your heart, making it truly special. If anything this year has taught me, is to never take things for granted and to live in the magical moments of your life. I hope you darlings have a wonderful Christmas and a happy new year!

xoxo Mai
